"Are we all concerned about getting kids out into the woods? Will there be woods and wildlife left for them to enjoy?

Our group takes disadvantaged children to areas that they would never see--in fact, they would be afraid to visit. On a visit to Barr Hammock the kids were fascinated by the remains of a cattle dip, the blossoms floating on the shallow lake, the tall trees and bird songs.

All this would be lost without Florida Forever--a piece of our natural heritage that we must preserve, and must share with all our children."
