The Florida Forever program has been instrumental in providing matching funds to the locally funded Alachua County Forever program, which as protected nearly 13,000 acres of important natural areas and wildlife habitat. The Conservation Trust has worked as a non-profit partner to the Alachua County program to secure additional federal grants for acquisition and provide outreach to the public."
